About BCCAR:
On July 31, 2022, the Belize Companies Act. 11 of 2022 was enacted appointing the Director General of the Belize Financial Services Commission (FSC) as the Registrar of the Belize Companies and Corporate Affairs Registry (BCCAR). BCCAR is Belize’s Legal Entity Registry providing incorporation, registration, and post-registration services for Companies (including foreign companies), Business Names, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP), International Trusts, International Foundations, and Limited Liability Companies (LLC), Non- Governmental Organizations (NGO) and Non-Profit Organizations (NPO). On November 25, 2024, the Security Rights for Moveable Collateral Registry was launched which is guided by the Moveable Property and Security Rights legislation.
