WHEREAS, Section 8 (1) of the International Financial Services Commission Act, Chapter 272 of the Laws of Belize,Revised Edition 2011, provides inter alia, that the commission may, with the approval of the Minister of Finance, appoint a Director General of the International Financial Services Commission for such a period as may be specified in the instrument of appointment.
